Terms and Conditions

  1. Venue and Maps:

  2. Exhibit Dates: Main Meeting Exhibition is from 7:00 am Wednesday, 04/30/25 through 1:00 pm on Friday, 05/02/25.

  3. Space Assignment: Exhibition space will be assigned by the Seminar committee, based upon exhibitor preference and by the date of receipt of contract and payment.

  4. Reservation Includes: Please refer to the vendor sponsorship packages as they list the benefits included, as as: • Exhibition space (6-foot table with linen, electrical outlet, chair, and wireless internet access)
    • Meals from Wednesday to Friday for one (breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks)
    • Digital advertising (during event activities, in CAC publication(s), and on the CAC website)
    • Special event tickets (wine and cheese reception on 4/30/25 and banquet on 5/1/25)

  5. Shipping Requirements: Vendors are responsible for transporting all materials to the hotel. If packages need to be shipped to the hotel, please contact us to make arrangements. Pallets cannot be secured. The hotel may assess a handling fee, and items must be labeled with:
    • Name of vendor representative in attendance and company
    • CAC 2025
    • “Hold for Arrival Date of [planned hotel check-in date]”
    Limitation of Liability: The California Association of Criminalists (CAC) will not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage, including that by fire and theft, which may occur to an exhibitor or to his agents or employee, or to their property or wares, arising from any cause whatsoever, prior, during, or subsequent to the period of this exhibit. Each exhibitor, by registering for this event, expressly understands that they release the CAC from and agrees to indemnify it against any and all claims for any such loss, injury or damage.

  6. Refunds: Refunds will not be issued unless a substitute exhibitor can be found (processing fees will not be refunded). Please call if unable to attend.

  7. Break Down: Exhibits must be taken down by 1:00 pm on Friday, 05/02/25

  8. Accommodations: Seminar hotel room rate is $119.00 + taxes and fees. This rate will be honored until April 13, 2025. For reservations, please call 916-351-1500 (mention code: CAC) or use the hotel reservation link.

  9. Additional Requests: It is our goal to accommodate your needs as much as possible. Therefore, it is very important that we are made aware of any additional requests PRIOR to the seminar.
